Note
Designed by Gordon Buehrig, the great designer of the famous Duesemberg, it is
considered the last great American Sports car of the 30's. 450 units were hand-built
between 1935 and 1936. It´s sporting history shows that in June 1935 it broke all speed records for the “American Standard” and “open” classes at the Bonneville Salts speed meetings of the era.

Note
Named after its creator Carroll Shelby, this model gave the Ford Mustang a racing image. In 1965 only 525 numbered cars were built of the street version and 37 of the competition version, Five “R” and three “Street” Shelbys were brought to Peru that year. They had an extremely successful racing history at the time. This particular car belonged to Mr. Luis Alvarado Contreras.
